Nixon’s edgy and contemporary designs such as the Tangent, Sentry Chrono and the Rover SS were in keeping with the fashion houses’ military and sporty theme with simple and classic toned colours. Combined with the youthfulness of the Nixon brand usually favoured by skateboarders, surfers and snowboarders alike blends with a collection that boasts an easy transition from day to night.
It was clear that the collection had focused on bringing a realistic vision of a traditional British summer, with dark greens and navy tones used on comfortable fabrics and accessible silhouettes. Indulgence was incorporated with practical summer wear, with water resistant and light overcoats to soft-shell bomber jackets being complemented with a selection of strong and compelling Nixon watches. The powerful proportions of the watch faces were the essential accessories to finish off the sophisticated mixed with a down-time look.
“When collaborating with brands, we always look for others who share the same ethos. Nixon also have a great balance between, edgy, classic and always functional.” says Amber Siegel, “When the call came in regarding Nixon it was perfect as they have such variety and a good mixture of sporty and army themes rather than the classic banker style watch.”
