FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
– Dec 17th, 2014
Alec Bizby’s new online store has generated a significant amount of interest within the alternative fashion crowd and has pushed the brand further from regular slots at weekend markets in East London, with some key pieces already sold out since officially launching on December 10th.
Starting life as a platform for Bizby to showcase his collections to a wider audience, the website has fast become a hit for urban and contemporary followers and has sold afar as Norway, Germany and Switzerland.
The e-store, in partnership with website developing company Squarespace, offers unique and mainstream inspired garments with a formal and casual mesh. Traditional autumn/winter tones of grey, navy and berry are transitioned for modern and clean cut designs, from the basic kimono cardigan to wool roll-up joggers and raglan jumpers with each piece hand crafted from Bizby’s East London studio.
This season’s collection is very much inspired by bold London streetwear, simplistic pieces adorned with sophisticated and heavy wool mix fabrics sourced exclusively from the UK. With a few detailing elements inspired by classic womenswear, Bizby conveys strong masculinity with structured utilitarian shapes and approachable textiles to uphold the individualism trend.
Speaking of the early success of the new online store, the London College of Fashion graduate said: “Since its launch last week, I have been overwhelmed with the response it has received. I didn’t expect to already be selling out of some garments, however the level of success has exceeded my expectations and I plan to continue this rising growth with regular attention to online purchasing.”
In partnership with online privacy management provider, Truste, Alec Bizby allows for secure online shopping with affordable UK and international shipping costs (UK from £1.00), courtesy of DHL. Customers can also take full advantage of the special introductory offer of 20% off your first order over £100, using promo code AB20 at the checkout. (Offer ends January 2nd 2015).
*Notes to Editor: Raglan jumpers from £30, kimono cardigans from £35 and wool
